The Meguru toothbrush series is a headline-making, innovative new product that aims to combat micro-plastics and CO2 emissions. The handle of this brush is made from polylactic acid resin - a renewable bioplastic derived from natural materials - blended with fine, renewably-sourced bamboo powder.

The plant-material used to make this toothbrush, and its packaging, can all be grown within a single year, but the toothbrush has been designed to last at least two years, making it completely sustainable. In addition, the bamboo used is managed by the company that makes the toothbrush, so that they can make sure it's grown sustainable. All Meguru toothbrushes are carefully made by experienced craftsmen in domestic factories in Japan. 

The combination of bamboo powder and bioplastic is great for the environment, as it emits less CO2 when it's incinerated compared to a typical toothbrush. This means Meguru are really trying to combat environmental damage on all fronts.

The bristles are made of biodegradable natural horse hair, making it a moderately-soft toothbrush that can gently polish your teeth and gums, and that won't leave behind any harmful micro-plastics when you're done with it!
